ASPHERIC IOLs BETTER THAN SPHERIC IOLs IN MID TO LOW CONTRAST SITUATIONS

Eyes implanted with the aspheric IOL showed better photopic and mesopic contrast sensitivity at medium and high spatial frequencies than eyes implanted with the spherical IOL. High-contrast photopic visual acuity was similar between both IOLs.
