MOORFIELDS MOTION DSPLACEMENT TEST FOR DIAGNOSING GLAUCOMA

According to this study in Ophthalmology:
The Moorfields Motion Displacement Test (MMDT; Enhanced Standard Threshold Algorithm [ESTA] version 1, London, UK) is a new 31-point suprathreshold test for visual field assessment using moving line stimuli displayed on a standard laptop computer. This study evaluated the diagnostic performance of the MMDT for discriminating between healthy eyes and eyes with glaucoma.
The suprathreshold MMDT showed good diagnostic performance for diagnosing glaucoma when glaucoma was defined by a structural criterion.

The test can be found here.

ADD/ADHD AND REFRACTIVE ERROR

According to this study in the Journal of AAPOS:

ADD/ADHD children had similar visual acuity at distance and near and refractive errors as normal subjects. Binocular function and accommodation were also found to be similar in both groups and thus might not contribute to ADD/ADHD.

CAFFEINE, WATER DRINKING TEST, AND GLAUCOMA

The maximum intraocular pressure from the water drinking test was greater than the caffeine test and showed greater fluctuation in IOP (4.3 ± 2.7 mmHg [27.7%] p<0 .0001="" 1.9="" caffeine="" compared="" mmhg="" p="0.004).</p" test="" the="" to="">
The mean rise in IOP was greater with WDT than the CT. Intake of a 104mg caffeinated beverage does not appear to provide an alternative for patients unable to tolerate the WDT.
