CSR is central serous retinopathy which is leakage of fluid through the RPE that leads to serous retinal detachment. It lasts a few months and resolves spontaneously with limited lasting objective effects. It needs to be considered in the differential diagnosis of vision loss in patient undergoing corticosteroid treatment.
