NASAL STEROIDS INCREASES IOP 2.5mmHg
According to this review in Eye World Magazine of a study published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology: "Discontinuation of nasal steroids in glaucoma patients resulted in significant intraocular pressure (IOP) reduction".The authors of the original study concluded:
"nasal steroids might contribute to an increase in IOP, and they recommend that further studies should review whether a patient has glaucoma before medication initiation."
